This is an extremely light and delicious cake available for Easter only and made in Verona by a family bakery. The light vanilla sponge encloses small, tasty apricot confit drops, and the top is covered by a soft almond glaze. It is packaged in a beautiful box with a hand drawn print of apricots making it an ideal gift at Easter. It is traditionally loosley shaped like a dove. 

Ingredients - Wheat flour type 0, sugar, eggs, butter, apricots 10%, sweet and bitter hand chosen almonds, natural yeast, salt, emulsifiers, sucrose, fructose, gelling agent: pectin, acidifier: citric acid, flavourings. May contain nuts and soy.
