This beauty has been in production for some time now and we are more than pleased with the final outcome. A truly beautiful blanket. Made for us in Scotland using a fine blend of the softest British Lambswool. So fine it has a close likeness to other finer yarns such as alpaca and cashmere.

The finish on this blanket is soft enough to warrant it being used from the Sofa to bed. It has got a lovely weight and feel. Something one can only truly appreciate when handling. I hope these stunning photos by Sarah Weal give you a taste of its quality. A highly technical finish, produced to exacting standards.

Pure lambswool has been washed, carded, dyed and spun then woven into blankets at one of the oldest vertical mills in the Highlands of Scotland (operating since 1797). In this restrained stripe several shades of yarn have been twisted together to give depth of colour. A gentle, reassuring drape is achieved by using a lesser-spotted 3/1 twill structure. The pleasing upshot of this is a unique look on on the face and the reverse of the blanket - one strong and graphic, the other subtle and more muted.
