The buttons are mother of pearl and the collar has a nice sharp cut. Washing instructions - The label inside advises to dry clean only (due to the material manufacturer's guidelines) however we would also advise that the shirt can be hand washed & hung to dry naturally. Or machine wash on a cool handwash cycle. We have done all of the above and all have worked fine.
