La Charentaise slippers are made in the Charente region of France and were created in the 17th Century. They have since had some small adjustments made to make them more suitable to modern day living. The rubber sole means they can be worn outside and the removable inner sole can be taken out for hand washing. They are also known as Tcha slippers.
Material - Merino wool Felt
Merino wool felt with a sheepskin liner
Wash - The slipper can be washed by hand. Gently wring it out and then fill with an
absorbing material (linen / cotton) to dry back to its original shape
The inner sole can be washed by hand and dried naturally
Colours - Grey / Red / Black & yellow
Styles - Grey & Red come with the option of a sheepskin lining for extra comfort
