Tea Mug in Stoneware

A simple, fluted, stoneware tea mug which we designed as a bespoke piece and have manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent. The stoneware is a new finish for our classic range of tea mugs which we also produce in a glazed bone china finish.

The stoneware tea mugs are left unglazed on the exterior but with a clear glaze inside. This gives them a the slightly matt, grainy texture which in the industry they call a biscuit finish. Quite fitting for a mug which would go well with a couple of tasty biscuits! These vessels are a delight to drink from with fine edges and a lightweight design.

The biscuit stoneware looks elegant alongside our bone china and matt black items.

Our first ever Freight design started with our passion for pottery which of course led us to Stoke-on-Trent, the historic centre of ceramic manufacturing in the UK. We have now worked with the same brilliant makers there for almost a decade. Our first designs are still in production alongside newer pieces as we continue to add to our gradually growing collection.

We offer refunds or exchanges on any item returned in its original packaging and in saleable condition within 20 days of purchase.
