Gold Vermeil Egg Pendant Necklace

A lovely simple Gold Vermeil egg pendant on an 18" or 26" fine small link chain. A simple S hook fastener makes for an elegant design which avoids the fiddly clasps often found on necklaces. The 26" chain can be worn full length or on a slightly shorter setting.

Gold Vermeil describes jewellery that is made from solid silver and is then coated in a generous layer of gold. This traditional technique has been used for over 100 years and results in a layer of gold many times thicker than the more modern technique of gold plating.
