Alpaca Long Socks with Cushion Sole

These soft undyed brown alpaca socks are hardwearing and very comfortable due to the cushion sole which gives the foot extra padding. A fantastic sock for the winter months or to wear around the house in place of slippers but even better inside boots pulled right up for extra coverage. Ideal for those of us who like to wear wide leg trousers, they can fend off a winter draught in place of having to wear tights. I have been using mine inside knee high boots beneath wide leg trousers and they are the perfect match. Due to the high percentage of natural fibres – higher than many similar socks on the market – they are breathable which prevents feet from overheating.

Alpaca yarn also has hypoallergenic properties making it ideal for those who have sensitive skin or are prone to irritations from wool.
