Match Boxes Designed By Tom Frost
After the success of our first match box commission which celebrated the local (Lewes) obsession with Bonfire, we decided to continue with an ongoing series of limited edition designs.
After the success of our first match box commission which celebrated the local (Lewes) obsession with Bonfire, we decided to continue with an ongoing series of limited edition designs.
During our research we came across the work of Tom Frost. Areas of his work have been inspired and influenced by old match box designs. We were instantly captivated and hoped this could be the start to our new series. Fortunately Tom was also excited about the possibility of collaborating with us. We loved the work that Tom had already produced but he was keen to create new designs for us to use.
The first design ‘All Aboard’ was launched in time for the opening of our new shop on the 5th of November. The second ‘Love is the Key’ is a spring design. Both have been very popular and are something we will hope to continue throughout the years. Find our latest Giant Match Boxes here.
