Alpaca Cushion Sole Socks - Brown-black

These soft undyed alpaca socks are hardwearing but also very comfortable due to the cushion sole which gives the foot extra padding. The rich dark Brown-black colour makes these a fantastic sock for the winter months or to wear around the house in place of a slipper.  Due to the high percentage of natural fibres – higher than many similar socks on the market – they are breathable which prevents feet from sweating or overheating.

Alpaca has hypoallergenic properties making them good for those with sensitive skin or prone to irritation from other wools.

Note - The colour of this sock is as dark as the yarn comes naturally - it is not a deep black. There are tones of brown. It is an undyed garment. Which is better for the environment and makes for a wonderfully soft finish.

CARE

Machine washable on a wool cycle no hotter than 30ºC.

The alpaca yarn has no kink for bacteria to breed therefore they do not require frequent washing. A weeks wear without washing them is not unreasonable. Try for yourself.
