Giant buttery galette biscuit in a wooden box

This flat shorcrust biscuit is made with wheat flour, a lot of butter, sugar, fresh eggs and salt. It contains no preservatives or colourings. This is a family recipe that has been produced by the Broye Du Poitou family since 1976. 

Tradition has it that it must broken open using your fist instead of a knife and then shared as you desire with different size pieces to choose from. 

This giant buttery shortbread biscuit is presented in a charming, circular wooden box. A fantastic option as a gift. Truly delicious with a hint of salt running through this entirely irresistible treat. A small piece goes a long way.
