A Freight designed duster coat made with a dry waxed cotton produced in the UK. A truly stylish garment which can be thrown on for a winter walk or dressed up for city smart.
This water resistant cloth brings life to this garment which creases and moulds to the shape of the wearer. Water repellant, and now with the addition of a subtle part bio-based coating on the reverse to further enhance weather protection.
We wanted to design a coat which can be worn year round, layered with other garments. Practical and perfect for carrying in a bag.
Having worn mine now in all types of weather I also found that this cloth is amazing at preventing the wind from penetrating. So it's wonderful for blustery walks and still keeping you warm. This wasn't a property I was expecting from this type of cloth so that was a pleasant surprise.
Due to the waxed nature of the material this coat needs wearing in, the warmth of your body heat will mould the coat to your shape nicely after a few wears. Dig your hands into those pockets, wrap it around you and swish about!
