This is a traditional Spanish boxwood chefs knife made with a carbon steel blade for longevity. The manufacturers still maintain the quality of the product that was implemented when it was formed in1917. All of the knives are sharpened by hand using an artisanal technique established by the original founders. The manufactures work with two types of steel, carbon steel and stainless steel. We also have these knives available in stainless steel.
Sizes - 10cm 13cm & 16cm
Care - Carbon steel must be dried instantly after washing to avoid any rusting. The main benefit in comparison to stainless steel is that it is easier to hone on a knife steel, and to maintain an extremely sharp edge.
