Herringbone British Lambswool Blanket

A broken herringbone pattern blanket in a combination of brown and cream, made in Lancashire using a locally sourced soft British Lambswool yarn. The yarn for these throws was spun less than 15 miles down the road from the mill where they are then manufactured. 

This is the ideal blanket that fits in all settings whether it be thrown on the ground for a picnic, wrapped around cold shoulders on an alfresco evening or strewn over the back of the sofa for chilly nights. These blankets are lovely and lightweight so they are easy to sling into a basket and take with you as well as keeping you warm through the winter. 

Made in a traditional mill one of the last of its kind to still work on vertical looms for some of their production. A factory we have had the pleasure of visiting twice now and meeting the fantastic people who work there and help to teach us more and more about this craft.
