A lovely simple gold vermeil hammered linear link chain necklace. A simple S hook fastener makes for an elegant design which takes away the fiddly clasps often found on necklaces. The chain can be worn full length or even doubled over to make a second loop. The chain is approximately 100cm long in total so it is long enough to be looped around twice.

Sarah King is a local Lewes based jeweller whose simple constructions fit perfectly with the Freight aesthetic. Sarah uses Ecosilver which is a premium material using silver recycled from jewellery, giftware and electronic sources.

Gold Vermeil describes jewellery that is made from solid silver and is then coated in a generous layer of gold. This traditional technique has been used for over 100 years and results in a layer of gold many times thicker than the more modern technique of gold plating.
